Case Study: Influencing Skills with Invesco

The Brief

To deliver a three-hour workshop to enable participants to sharpen their Influencing Skills, including:

  • Increasing self-empowerment through a positive mindset to influence others

  • Learning influencing skills for better team collaboration e.g. pushing back on an idea while maintaining a good relationship

  • Presenting precise and convincing ideas to get others’ buy-in

Desired Learning Outcomes

For participants to gain the self-confidence required to convince and influence clients and stakeholders to get on board with ideas and solutions.

The Workshop

This face-to-face workshop presented various models and techniques to help participants determine how to increase their influence by developing their growth mindset and building trust with others. Additionally, they worked on creating powerful, memorable messages and overcoming objections.

As with all Actualize programs, each model was accompanied by the opportunity to practice.
